My post-undergrad life has been only a little less stressful than my life while still in college. I decided I wasn’t going home after school because I didn’t want to get lazy and end up there for the rest of my life, which is my biggest fear, so I was looking for a sublet for the summer, but that didn’t really work out, so I have a place for June in Brooklyn, but of course only June. I have to immediately start looking for a place for the rest of the summer/fall basically.
Also, my cousin’s very sick, so I’m going there to help out for a few days next week, and the guy I’m living with for June won’t be able to give me keys to the apartment till Monday, which is the day I leave for li to help my cousin, so I can’t even move into this apartment until June 7th. I’m still going to have to pay the entire month’s rent even though I won’t be there, and I still don’t have job.
Pretty much, life is hard right now with no sign of it getting any easier in the near future. Fortunately, I just spent the past week+ with my boyfriend, and it was a really good time, kind of like a break from reality.
